What to Expect on Sunday Mornings
What to Expect
We know visiting a church for the first time can feel unfamiliar or even a little overwhelming. At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, we want you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and at home from the moment you arrive.
Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church after time away, or looking for a church family, we are glad you are here.
Worship Times
Sunday Schedule
- Sunday School – 9:30 AM
- Worship Service – 10:30 AM
We invite you to come as you are and worship with us.
What Is Worship Like?
Our worship blends Scripture, prayer, music, preaching, and congregational participation in a meaningful and welcoming atmosphere.
You may experience:
- Traditional hymns and worship music
- Choir and special music
- Biblical teaching and preaching
- Prayer and Scripture reading
- A warm and caring church family
We worship with reverence, joy, and a desire to grow closer to God together.
What Should I Wear?
You will see a variety of clothing styles at Pleasant Grove UMC.
Some people dress casually, while others prefer more traditional Sunday attire. You are welcome either way.
Come comfortably and focus on worship—not worrying about what to wear.
What About My Kids?
Children and youth are an important part of our church family.
We offer Sunday School opportunities for children and youth and encourage families to worship together.
Our church family works to create a caring and welcoming environment where children are known, valued, and loved.
Where Do I Go When I Arrive?
Parking is available on the church campus, including areas near the sanctuary and Family Life Center.
Greeters and church members are happy to help answer questions, guide you to worship spaces, or help you find Sunday School classes.
If you are unsure where to go, simply ask someone—we are glad to help.
A Church Family for Every Season
At Pleasant Grove UMC, we believe church is more than a building or a service. It is a community where people worship together, grow in faith together, care for one another, and serve their neighbors.
We are grateful for every person who walks through our doors.
