Embrace Alabama

At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, we believe every child deserves to be seen, known, and loved. Through our partnership with Embrace Alabama, we step into that calling by supporting foster children, adoptive families, and those who care for them across our community.

Embrace Alabama is a Christ-centered ministry that wraps around foster families—offering encouragement, resources, and practical help. Many children enter foster care with very little. Many families say “yes” to fostering but need support along the way.

That’s where the Church comes in.

We don’t all foster—but we can all care.

Together, we become a light in difficult seasons.

A child finds comfort.
A family finds support.
A community becomes stronger.

When we serve through Embrace Alabama, we reflect the love of Christ—steady, compassionate, and present. Like a beacon in the night, we remind families they are not alone.
