Seasons of the Church Year

The Christian year helps guide worship, reflection, and spiritual growth by walking through the life of Jesus Christ and the story of salvation.

Throughout the year, the Church remembers key moments such as Christ’s birth, ministry, death, resurrection, the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the call to daily discipleship.

These seasons invite us to slow down, worship deeply, learn faithfully, and live with hope in every season of life.

At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, we follow these sacred rhythms to help shape our hearts and keep Christ at the center.
