Exploring Justice Through Scripture, Conversation, and Community
“He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Throughout this series, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church invites you to explore the many dimensions of justice through Scripture, thoughtful discussion, and presentations from a variety of voices.
Whether you have studied this topic for years or are just beginning to ask questions, we invite you to learn, listen, reflect, and grow together.

What Is Justice?
Throughout August, Pastor Emily will explore biblical justice through the words of the prophets and the teachings of Jesus, considering how God’s justice shapes our faith and our lives.

Our church-wide, all-ages Sunday School class will view and discuss Across, a four-part documentary featuring the personal stories of asylum seekers and faith-based support.
Each week includes approximately 20 minutes of video followed by guided discussion.

Blessing Box & Little Library Location
The Blessing Box and Little Library are located together on the church property at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church near the back parking lot, to the right of the Family Life Center, beside the trees.
They are placed next to each other for easy access and are available to the community.
Look for the colorful boxes on the church grounds.
Blessing Box- A free community food box providing non-perishable food and toiletries for anyone in need
