Children & Youth at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church
Helping the Next Generation Grow in Faith
At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, children and youth are deeply valued.
We believe young hearts matter to God, and we desire to help every child and teenager know they are loved, welcomed, and invited to grow in faith.
Families are an important part of our church life, and we are honored to partner with parents and grandparents.
What We Want for Young People
We want children and youth to:
- Know they are loved by God
- Learn Bible truth in age-appropriate ways
- Build friendships in a caring environment
- Ask honest questions
- Grow in prayer and worship
- Discover ways to serve others
- Develop lifelong faith
Sunday Opportunities
Sunday School – 9:30 AM
Learning opportunities for children, youth, and all ages.
Worship – 10:30 AM
Families are welcome to worship together.
Children are a blessing, not a distraction.
Children
Children are welcomed with warmth and care.
We desire to create joyful opportunities where kids can learn about Jesus, Scripture, kindness, prayer, and God’s love.
Youth
Teenagers need truth, belonging, encouragement, and wise guidance.
We seek to support youth through relationships, faith conversations, and opportunities to grow in Christ.
Parents Matter Too
We know parents want places where children are safe, cared for, and encouraged.
We also know every child is different.
If you have questions before visiting, we would be glad to help.
Families Are Welcome Here
Whether your children are quiet, active, curious, shy, energetic, or still learning church rhythms—we welcome your family.
Grace lives here.
