What Is Holy Week?

Holy Week walks us through the Gospel story:

  • Palm Sunday – Jesus enters Jerusalem as King (Matthew 21:1–11)
  • Holy Monday–Wednesday – Jesus teaches, prays, and prepares
  • Maundy Thursday – Jesus shares the Last Supper and washes feet (John 13)
  • Good Friday – Jesus is crucified for our salvation (Luke 23)
  • Holy Saturday – A day of silence and waiting
  • Easter Sunday – Christ rises from the dead (Luke 24)

Holy Week reminds us that Jesus willingly gave Himself to save us.
