Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church supports Sav-A-Life Bessemer, a local ministry in Hueytown serving women, men, babies, and families in western Jefferson County.
Sav-A-Life offers compassionate, confidential support before and after the birth of a child, including pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, parenting classes, baby supplies, and encouragement for families. Their ministry is supported through donations, volunteers, nurses, parenting coaches, and client advocates.
As followers of Jesus, we believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves care, dignity, and hope. Supporting Sav-A-Life is one way Pleasant Grove UMC seeks to love boldly, serve joyfully, and be a Beacon of Light in our community.
