For many years, the Bake Sale has been one of the most anticipated parts of the Harvest Festival at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Tables filled with homemade cakes, pies, cookies, candies, breads, and seasonal favorites welcome visitors from Pleasant Grove, western Birmingham, Jefferson County, and surrounding communities each year.
The Bake Sale is more than a collection of desserts and baked goods. It reflects the generosity, hospitality, creativity, and servant spirit of the church family.
Many of the recipes shared through the Bake Sale have been family traditions passed down through generations.

Volunteers spend hours baking, packaging, labeling, organizing, and arranging baked goods before the festival begins.
Kitchen counters, fellowship hall tables, and serving areas quickly fill with homemade creations prepared with care and dedication.
A Ministry of Hospitality
