6.0 Season 6 The King Is Coming- Overview

Revelation and the Hope of God’s New Creation

The Story Ends—and Begins Again

The Bible begins in a garden.

It ends with a city.

The story starts with creation and concludes with God’s promise of a new heaven and a new earth.

Throughout Scripture, God has been working to redeem His people and restore His creation.

The Book of Revelation is the final chapter of that story.

Many people approach Revelation with fear, confusion, or endless speculation.

Yet Revelation was written to encourage believers.

Its central message is not fear.

Its central message is hope.

Jesus Christ is Lord.

Jesus Christ is victorious.

Jesus Christ is coming again.

Season Six explores the major themes of Revelation and the promises God gives His people. Rather than focusing on endless debates and timelines, we will focus on the hope, encouragement, worship, perseverance, and victory found throughout the book.

The King is coming.

And God’s people can live with confidence.

Why This Matters Today

Many people worry about the future.

The Book of Revelation reminds believers that God is still on the throne.

History is not moving toward chaos.

History is moving toward God’s promised future.

Christians do not face the future with fear.

We face it with faith.

Because Jesus reigns today and will reign forever.

The Final Word Is Hope

Revelation contains warnings, challenges, and calls to faithfulness.

But its final message is hope.

God wins.

Evil does not have the final word.

Suffering does not have the final word.

Death does not have the final word.

Jesus Christ has the final word.

The Story Continues

The Bible concludes with an invitation:

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.'” (Revelation 22:17)

The story that began in Genesis and continued through the life of Jesus, the early Church, and the letters of the New Testament reaches its fulfillment in Revelation.

God’s people live with hope because God’s promises are true.

The King is coming.
