Psalm 91: Shelter Me – Finding Refuge in God

A peaceful sunrise over water with a person sitting quietly, reflecting on God’s presence and peace, inspired by Psalm 91.

“Shelter Me – Finding Refuge in God”

This image reflects the heart of Psalm 91—a quiet moment of trust in God’s presence. As light breaks across the water, it reminds us that no matter what we face, we are never alone. God meets us in stillness, offering refuge, peace, and the assurance that we are held in His care.

Psalm 91: Shelter Me – Finding Refuge in God

Where do we turn when life feels uncertain?

Psalm 91 reminds us God is our refuge and shelter.

This video walks from storm to peace.

🪶 Where do we turn when life feels uncertain?

When fear rises…
When the future feels unclear…
When life feels heavy…

We long for a place of safety.

Psalm 91 gives us that place.

Not just a concept—
but a Person.

❤️ God is our refuge, not just our idea of safety

Psalm 91 (NASB) begins with a promise:

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”
— Psalm 91:1

This is not about avoiding difficulty.
It is about where we live in the middle of it.

God invites us to:

  • dwell, not visit
  • abide, not strive
  • trust, not fear

He is:

  • our refuge
  • our fortress
  • our covering

✝️ Why we can trust this promise

Throughout Scripture, God reveals His character:

  • He is faithful
  • He is present
  • He is near to the brokenhearted
  • He does not abandon His people

Psalm 91 reminds us:

  • We are not alone
  • We are not forgotten
  • We are not without help

Even in the storm…

👉 He is with us

🌅 From fear to peace

This visual reflection, Shelter Me, walks us through a journey:

  • From rest
  • To trust
  • To being held
  • Through the storm
  • Into peace
  • And finally into hope

This is the movement of faith:

👉 Not the absence of trouble
👉 But the presence of God
