Old Testament Connections
Throughout the Old Testament, God demonstrated power over:
nature,
disease,
evil,
armies,
and death.
The miracles of Jesus reveal that God’s power is present and active through Him.
The prophets also spoke of a coming Messiah who would:
heal,
restore,
save,
and bring God’s Kingdom.
Season 4 shows these promises becoming reality.
Missing Context Check
Why Did Some People Reject Jesus Despite the Miracles?
Many expected the Messiah to be a political king who would overthrow Rome.
Jesus came first as a Savior who would address sin and restore people’s relationship with God.
His mission often differed from people’s expectations.
Why Were Miracles Not Enough for Everyone?
Miracles could attract attention, but they could not force faith.
People still had to decide whether they would trust Jesus.
What Is Faith?
Faith is more than believing facts.
Faith involves trusting God, following Jesus, and remaining faithful even when questions remain.
