Learn the Story of God and of the Old Testament
Season 3: Rescue

Rescue: God Delivers His People
God heard the cries of His people in Egypt and acted with power and compassion. Through Moses, God brought freedom from slavery, guided His people through the wilderness, and revealed His presence among them.
God Delivers His People
God always keeps His promises.
By the end of Season 2, Joseph had saved his family from famine, and the descendants of Abraham were living safely in Egypt. What began as a small family continued to grow into a great people, just as God had promised.
But generations passed.
A new Pharaoh arose who did not remember Joseph. The Israelites became slaves in Egypt, oppressed and burdened by harsh labor.
For many years they cried out to God.
And God heard them.
Season 3 tells the story of one of the greatest acts of deliverance in the Bible. Through Moses, God rescued His people from slavery, led them through the Red Sea, gave them His law, and taught them what it meant to live as His covenant people.
This is a story of rescue, freedom, obedience, and God’s faithful presence.
Most importantly, the Exodus points forward to Jesus Christ, who came to deliver people from the bondage of sin and lead them into new life.
Why Study the Exodus?

God is powerful enough to overcome any obstacle.
Freedom comes through God’s deliverance.
