The Eternal God
The God Who Has No Beginning and No End
God is eternal.
Unlike everything in creation, God has always existed and always will exist. He was never created. He has no beginning, no ending, and no limits of time.
The Bible reveals that before the universe existed, God was already there. Before the first sunrise, before the stars were formed, before time itself began, God existed in perfect glory.
Long after this present world has passed away, God will still reign forever.

The Eternal God has no beginning and no end. His kingdom endures forever, and His promises remain true throughout every generation.
What Does It Mean That God Is Eternal?
God’s eternity means He exists outside the limitations of time.
He is the everlasting God.
Past, present, and future are fully known to Him.
Unlike people, whose lives have a beginning and an end, God’s existence is unchanging and everlasting.
He is not bound by time.
He is the Creator of time.
Every moment of history unfolds under His sovereign care.
The Eternal God in Creation
The Bible begins by declaring that God created the heavens and the earth.
Everything we see had a beginning.
Mountains were formed.
Stars were created.
Life began because God spoke it into existence.
Only God existed before creation.
Everything depends upon Him.
He depends upon nothing.
His eternal nature reminds us that He alone is the self-existent Creator and Sustainer of all things.
God’s Eternal Purposes
God’s plans are not temporary.
His purposes span all of history.
From the beginning, God has been carrying out His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
Nothing can prevent His eternal purposes from being fulfilled.
Generations rise and fall.
Kingdoms come and go.
Cultures change.
Yet God’s kingdom endures forever.
His eternal purposes remain unchanged.
God’s Eternal Love
One of the greatest comforts for believers is that God’s love is everlasting.
His love does not fade with time.
His mercy does not grow old.
His grace is never exhausted.
His faithfulness continues from generation to generation.
Because God is eternal, His love remains constant throughout every season of life.
Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ
God not only exists forever—He invites us to share in eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Through Christ’s death and resurrection, believers receive the promise of everlasting life.
Eternal life is more than living forever.
It is knowing God personally and enjoying an everlasting relationship with Him.
This promise gives believers hope that extends beyond death into God’s eternal kingdom.
Living in Light of Eternity
Knowing that God is eternal changes our perspective.
We begin to value what lasts forever.
We invest in God’s kingdom.
We trust His promises.
We endure difficult seasons with hope.
We remember that our present struggles are temporary, but God’s love and His kingdom are eternal.
Living for the Eternal God gives purpose to every day.
Our Eternal Hope
The Christian life is filled with hope because our future rests in the hands of the Eternal God.
He has prepared a place for His people.
One day, Christ will return.
God will make all things new.
Sin and death will be defeated forever.
Believers will worship Him throughout eternity.
Because God is eternal, our hope is secure.
