Praying During Community and National Crises
Seeking God’s Peace, Wisdom, and Hope During Difficult Times
There are moments when an entire community, nation, or even the world is affected by tragedy.
Natural disasters.
Acts of violence.
War.
Public emergencies.
Economic uncertainty.
Pandemics.
Events like these can leave us feeling overwhelmed, fearful, and uncertain about the future. Questions arise that have no easy answers. We may wonder what to do, how to respond, or how to pray.
In times of crisis, God’s people have always turned to Him.
Prayer reminds us that while circumstances may change suddenly, God’s character never changes. He remains our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble.
