Work is more than earning a paycheck.
Through our work, God gives us opportunities to provide for our families, serve others, develop our gifts, and honor Him in our daily lives. Yet there are seasons when employment becomes uncertain. Job loss, layoffs, career changes, retirement decisions, workplace conflict, or the search for meaningful work can leave us feeling anxious and discouraged.

He knows your needs, your concerns, and your hopes for the future. He invites you to bring every part of your work life to Him in prayer, trusting that He will provide wisdom, direction, and strength for each step of the journey.
Bring Your Concerns to God
Tell God honestly about your situation.
Share your fears about unemployment.
Bring your concerns about interviews.
Pray about difficult coworkers.
Seek His wisdom regarding career decisions.
Thank Him for the work He has already provided.

Pray for Wisdom and Direction
Ask God to guide your decisions.

Complete applications.
Interview for positions.
Consider career changes.
Make difficult workplace decisions.
Trust Him to open the right doors and close the wrong ones.
Pray for Daily Provision
Periods of unemployment or financial uncertainty can be frightening.
Ask God to provide for your daily needs.
Pray for opportunities to work.
Ask Him to give you perseverance while you wait.
Trust that He sees your needs and remains faithful even during uncertain seasons.

Whether you are employed, unemployed, retired, or seeking a new opportunity, your life continues to reflect Christ.

Excellence.
Wisdom in your relationships.
May your words and actions honor God wherever He places you.
Trust God’s Timing
Sometimes the job we want is not the job God provides.
Sometimes doors close because He is preparing us for something better.
Continue praying.
Continue working faithfully.
Continue trusting God’s timing.
His plans are always wiser than our own.
Remember That God Is Your Provider
Employment is one way God provides, but it is not the source of your security.
The Lord Himself is your Provider.
Whether He provides through a new job, unexpected opportunities, generous friends, or other means, His faithfulness never changes.
Your confidence rests in Him.
