Inviting Others to Join You in Prayer
God never intended for us to carry life’s burdens alone.
One of the greatest blessings of the Christian community is knowing that others are praying for us during both joyful and difficult seasons. Whether you are facing illness, grief, family challenges, financial concerns, important decisions, or celebrating an answered prayer, sharing your prayer request allows fellow believers to come alongside you with encouragement, compassion, and faithful prayer.
Asking others to pray is not a sign of weakness.
It is an expression of faith.
Why Share Prayer Requests?
The Bible encourages believers to bear one another’s burdens and pray for one another.
When we share our needs, we invite the church family to encourage us, support us, and faithfully seek God’s help together.
Prayer reminds us that we belong to a community of faith where no one has to walk alone.
What Can You Request Prayer For?
God cares about every part of your life.
You may ask for prayer regarding:
Health concerns.
Family relationships.
Marriage.
Children and grandchildren.
Employment.
Financial needs.
Spiritual growth.
Important decisions.
Grief and loss.
Thanksgiving for answered prayers.
No concern is too small or too great for our heavenly Father.
Pray with Faith
God always hears the prayers of His children.
While He answers according to His perfect wisdom and timing, we can confidently bring every request before Him.
Prayer changes our hearts, strengthens our faith, and reminds us that God is always at work—even when we cannot yet see the answer.
Respect Privacy
Some prayer requests are personal.
Share only what you are comfortable sharing publicly.
There may be times when you request confidential prayer from a pastor or trusted prayer partner.
Honoring privacy demonstrates love, wisdom, and respect for one another.
Continue Praying
Prayer is not limited to one request or one conversation.
Continue seeking God.
Continue trusting Him.
Continue thanking Him.
As circumstances change, update others so they can continue praying with you and celebrate God’s faithfulness together.
How to Submit a Prayer Request at Pleasant Grove
