Hospitality is much more than entertaining guests or hosting special events. In the Bible, hospitality is a practical expression of God’s love that welcomes others with kindness, generosity, compassion, and genuine care. It is one of the ways Christians demonstrate the heart of Christ and build meaningful relationships with family, friends, neighbors, strangers, and fellow believers.
Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to welcome others, care for those in need, and show kindness without expecting anything in return. Hospitality creates opportunities for friendship, encouragement, discipleship, and sharing the love of Jesus. A meal shared around a table, an invitation into our home, a warm conversation, or a simple act of kindness can become a powerful witness of God’s grace.
Hospitality is not reserved for people with large homes, abundant resources, or exceptional gifts. Every believer can practice hospitality through everyday acts of generosity, welcome, and love. God often uses ordinary moments of kindness to accomplish extraordinary spiritual work.
