Communication is one of God’s greatest gifts. Through our words, attitudes, actions, and even our silence, we influence the people around us every day. Healthy communication builds trust, strengthens relationships, resolves conflict, encourages faith, and reflects the love of Jesus Christ. Poor communication, however, can create misunderstanding, hurt feelings, broken relationships, and unnecessary conflict.
The Bible places great importance on the words we speak and the way we listen. Followers of Christ are called to speak with grace, listen with humility, tell the truth in love, encourage one another, and use words that build others up rather than tear them down. Healthy communication begins with a heart that is being transformed by God.
Whether we are communicating with a spouse, child, friend, coworker, neighbor, church member, or someone with whom we disagree, God desires that every conversation reflect His wisdom, truth, and love.

Communication is one of the clearest ways we reflect the love of Jesus Christ.
