The Example of Jesus
Jesus is the perfect example of humility.
Though He is the Son of God, Jesus came as a servant. He washed His disciples’ feet. He welcomed children. He spent time with the poor, the sick, and the overlooked.
Most importantly, Jesus humbled Himself by going to the cross for the salvation of the world.
His life teaches us that true greatness is found in serving rather than being served.

The Danger of Pride
Pride causes us to rely on ourselves instead of God.
Pride can damage relationships.
Pride makes it difficult to admit mistakes.
Pride resists correction and spiritual growth.
Scripture repeatedly warns that pride leads people away from God’s wisdom, while humility draws them closer to Him.
