Christian Character- Hope
A Living Hope for Every Season of Life
Life brings joy and celebration, but it also brings challenges, disappointments, uncertainty, grief, and loss. In every season, Christians are invited to place their hope in Jesus Christ.
Biblical hope is more than wishful thinking. It is confident trust in God’s promises and faithfulness. Because of Jesus Christ, believers have hope that endures through every circumstance and extends into eternity.

Hope That Holds
What Is Christian Hope?
In Scripture, hope means confident expectation.
Christian hope is the assurance that God is at work, that His promises are true, and that His purposes will ultimately be fulfilled.
Hope is grounded in:
The faithfulness of God
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
The presence of the Holy Spirit
The promises of Scripture
The certainty of eternal life
Because Christ lives, believers can face the future with confidence.
Hope Through Jesus Christ
Jesus entered a broken world to bring redemption, healing, forgiveness, and new life.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death.
Because of Christ:
We are never abandoned.
We are forgiven.
We are loved.
We are given purpose.
We have the promise of eternal life.
We can trust God even when we do not understand everything happening around us.
Hope During Difficult Seasons
Every believer experiences seasons of struggle.
Illness
Loss
Disappointment
Loneliness
Financial hardship
Unanswered questions
Times of waiting
In these moments, hope reminds us that God is still present and still working.
The Bible does not promise a life free from hardship, but it does promise God’s presence, strength, and faithfulness through every trial.

A Hope That Lasts Forever
The Christian life looks forward to the day when Christ returns and makes all things new.
Scripture promises a future where there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain.
Until that day, believers live with confidence, knowing that God is faithful and that our future is secure in Christ.
Our hope is not found in circumstances.
Our hope is found in Jesus.
