Choir

Music is an important part of worship at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Our choir helps lead the congregation in worship through traditional hymns, anthems, and special music while glorifying God each Sunday.

Whether you have sung in choirs for many years or simply enjoy lifting your voice in praise, we welcome new members. No audition is required—only a willing heart and a desire to serve through music.

Church Meals & Special Gatherings

Throughout the year, we gather around the table for covered-dish meals, fellowship lunches, seasonal celebrations, and church-wide gatherings that strengthen friendships and community. These gatherings remind us that some of the strongest friendships are built by simply spending time together.

There is something special about gathering around a table. At Pleasant Grove, meals are more than food—they are fellowship, laughter, and love.
From covered-dish lunches to special gatherings, sharing meals helps us grow closer in faith and friendship.

Traditions & Seasonal Fellowship

Throughout the year, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church shares traditions that bring people together through service, food, celebration, and fellowship.

From Harvest Festival preparations to seasonal gatherings and special events, these traditions help strengthen friendships and create lasting memories across generations.

Harvest Festival Apple Pie Team

A sweet tradition of fellowship, service, and community.

Each year, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church looks forward to one of our favorite traditions—the Harvest Festival. This special community event brings people together for delicious homemade food, our famous apple pies, crafts, fellowship, and opportunities to reconnect with friends and neighbors.

More than a fundraiser, the Harvest Festival reflects the heart of our church as members of all ages work side by side to prepare, serve, and welcome our community. From peeling hundreds of apples to sharing meals and laughter, it is a wonderful example of faith, friendship, and serving together.

Whether you have attended for many years or are planning your first visit, we invite you to join us for this special celebration.

Lunch and Learn

Lunch and Learn gatherings provide opportunities for fellowship, food, encouragement, and practical learning throughout the year.

Held approximately once each quarter, these gatherings focus on topics related to wellness, daily living, community care, and healthy aging while creating space for neighbors and church family to connect around the table.

Recent topics have included:

  • Eye health and vision concerns
  • Foot health and wellness
  • Balance and stability

Lunch and Learn grew out of the community wellness connections developed through the annual Health Fair ministry at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Together, these gatherings help strengthen relationships, provide practical support, and encourage healthy living within our community.

United Women in Faith

United Women in Faith provides opportunities for women to grow spiritually, build friendships, support missions, and serve both the church and the community.
