“At Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, we believe children and youth are an important part of God’s family. Whether your family is visiting for the first time or has been part of our church for years, we want every child and teenager to know they are loved, welcomed, and encouraged to grow in faith.”

Children & Youth

Growing Young Hearts in Christ

Children and youth are an important part of the family of God at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. We believe every child and teenager is created by God, deeply loved by Him, and invited to grow in a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered environment where children and youth can learn God’s Word, build friendships, serve others, and discover how faith applies to everyday life.

Whether your family has attended church for years or you are visiting for the first time, we want you to know you are welcome here.

Sunday Opportunities

Sunday School
9:30 AM

Children, youth, and adults gather each Sunday morning for Bible study, discussion, prayer, and Christian fellowship. Age-appropriate classes help young people understand Scripture and grow in their faith.

Worship
10:30 AM

Families worship together each Sunday. Children are always welcome in worship because they are an important part of our church family. We believe children learn to worship by worshiping alongside those who love them.

Helping Children Grow in Faith

Children learn about God’s love through Bible stories, prayer, worship, Christian friendships, and caring adults who encourage them as they grow.

Our desire is to help every child:

Know Jesus Christ

Understand God’s Word

Develop a life of prayer

Show kindness and compassion

Serve others with joy

Build a strong foundation of faith

Encouraging Youth to Follow Christ

The teenage years bring new questions, challenges, and opportunities. We desire to walk alongside young people as they discover God’s purpose for their lives.

Our prayer is that every student will:

Grow in a personal relationship with Christ

Develop a biblical worldview

Build lasting Christian friendships

Learn to serve others

Live out their faith each day

Supporting Parents and Grandparents

Parents and grandparents play the most important role in nurturing a child’s faith. We are honored to partner with families by providing biblical teaching, encouragement, and opportunities for children and youth to grow together in Christ.

If you have questions before visiting, we would be happy to help you learn more about our church and our ministries.
